no meal

Just in case you thought it was all birthday cakes and banana smoothies around here, this is generally my lunch and often my dinner as well. I made a vow last night that when I'm rich I will never eat another tortilla. Unless I'm feeling nostalgic for my poor days, in which case punch me in the mouth.

some days are diamonds

Some days working from home is great. It's cold out, I have good food here and all my appliances to make it with. Today for lunch I toasted a piece of whole grain bread, then added a layer of spinach leaves topped with melted leek & morel jack cheese, and finally a poached egg and some green onions to seal the deal.
